Poor Betty! Pretty, funny, frank, generous, emotional, tolerant, tender and brave is how I will remember her.
Betty's untimely death has left an immeasurable gap in the lives of those whose hearts she touched. Who could ever forget that beautiful smile?
I would particularly like to extend my sympathies to her children Susana, Joshua and Roxanne, and her husband Celio. It is never easy to adaquately express oneself to those who have suffered a loss like this.

This delightful picture showing Betty holding my newborn son Adam with her sister Salwa typifies not only the warmth of her character, but also the tender affinity she held towards her very young relatives, who in turn would always gravitate towards her.
